I did find www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk with limited success, a rather sordid divorce for George Snailum my Grandfather, but nothing for TOM,

I have an address as "Kingswood" Craigerook Road, Blackhall, Edinburgh which was the home address of Thomas Snailum in 1912. I have found a entry in the Edinburgh Post office directory for a Mr Tom Snailum. In the 1911/12 edition he is listed as a engineer, (his father also Thomas was the chief engineer of the infirmary) in the 1928/9 edition he is listed as JP, where would I look to find information of his career, when w...
