Hi Andrew, Yes that's what I though but in para 7 of the article refers to an American government valuation of the Bertram estate in 1994. I feel the article must be much later even than 1994, just trying to have definitive proof.

Looking for the final resting place of John Weston, Blacksmith at Gogar. Died at Gogar 16 July 1875. He is not on the family headstone in Gogar Churchyard. Enquiries made at Mortonhall drew a blank with no record of him being buried in any of the city cemetries. Help and advice would be appreciated....
