Hi If you know his parents names you can try an 1841 census look up, the census entry usually shows the neighbouring premises, or the ones either side on the census takers route. Hi Here is another source for Photos of Scotland and also the rest of the UK if you follow the links. http://www.francisfrith.com/search/scotland/ Again the onscreen pictures have a watermark, but £4.80 for a 4x8 of what appears to be a genuine photographic print not a computer print doesn't seem so...
