Absolutely fabulous Chris, Best free downloads I have ever seen. As Sarah says, a tad slow, but soooo worth it. And thanks for putting them in order Sarah, big help. I only came back from a book fair in Bath yesterday, and passed the site on to my troops on E-mail. So far the day I have had nine rep...

Hi Lesley, I popped the cert from SP and put it in the gallery under Cunzie 1612. Just for the sake of it. It is the earliest I have ever looked at. Pity it wasn't one of mine. The furthest back I can go is 1787 and I am not 100% on that! I just thought it interesting to see only the one name coming...

Hi all, I have been doing some research on the Kirk in Inveresk. Oot by Joppa. While perusing some records looking for the surname Cunzie (various spellings) I came across a marriage of William to a lassie, Christina Fairnie. Never heard of that last name at all, thought it must be a variant of some...

David has directed you to good sites, which I am sure you will have all learned from. However, once again, TS and myself have a culture clash. On my wee world “Planet Glasgow” a poster is a big dod o’ paper that weans kin pin up oan ther wall, and in this case, tae possibly help wey ther education ....

Free Treaty of Union Poster
Well not exactly free. You have to purchase the Sunday Times. Well worth the £1,90p in my opinion, for the poster, not the paper. Perhaps another member can give their opinion. The poster has paintings of the main players and a wee time line. I am sorry I am not allowed to send out any to you on her...
