i have a gt.gt. grandfather richard davies died in barnhill poorhouse denniston 1904. i have never looked into poorhouses but was really surprised to discover richard there as for most of his life he lived in edinburgh and since marriage to herietta tait resided at 1 gilchrist entry greenside place ...

i have young relatives that lived in muttonhole crammond edinburgh all i can find is that is was near granton would they be fishermen no mention of occupations i had never heard of muttonhole and see no reminder of it in and around crammond.

robert geddes taylor was found drowned in middle pier granton 10/11 june 1922. i have tried googling for a newspaper report of his death but no luck can anyone help me find a newspaper report this man was my gt. grandfather
