I think you are right !!! I recently bought FTM thinking it was the best but I'm not liking it at all. Hopefully it will grow on me I think my original software was just called Family Tree

By mentioning PAF you gave me the idea of importing it to that and then exporting it as the later version. FTM accepted it. Thanks

Yes I've made mistakes too but this is different isn't it ? Obviously other trees can give you pointers and I have taken info from trusted sources but I try to keep unchecked ancestors to my own off-line trees
