Hello Heather,

I don't think there is a proper way as I'm sure everyone has there favourites.
I always send scanned colour picture files, by attachment, as 'jpegs'
If they are black and white then as 'tif'.

I have a death rec of a Matthew Skirving who died in 1878. I cannot make out the maiden name of his mother ( will try to upload it shortly ).
