Calling All Yorkies!

Just a reminder that we're meeting up this Sunday 21st in York. Hope everyone's still up for it.

If anyone new from the Yorkshire area is reading this and wants to come along, send me a pm and I'll let you have details of venue etc.

Best Wishes

Another one she favoured to describe the less bright among us was " he's lik' a goat lookin' through m...

Hi Brian - just noticed the names you're researching - Dunlop/Logie in particular. I think we may recently have started communicating through Genes Reunited! Glad you've found your way to TS! I'm sure you'll get much more help here in the future

Best wishes

Hi all - child no 10 wouldn't be Jas (James) ?? Just another idea. As Andrew says though, a photocopy of the page would sort out any potential mistakes - an 1855 cert is too precious for it to be illegible

Good luck.

I've never heard of Annacker's Midden, but saying it with a slightly different emphasis gets you to A Nacker's Midden - could it be something to do with a knacker's yard - I do hope I'm not being rude with that one, but I truly don't know what a knacker's yard is - think it might be the abatoir? Jis...

Wonder if it's just coincidence but in the last 5 or 6 days I've had dozens of "mail undelivered" messages using the domain exactly as Andrew described. Some have attachments, some not. Most of them are caught by the ISP spam catcher, but a lot are getting through - don't know what distinguishes one...
