Crombie ancestors lived in Maybole Ayrshire Scotland

I've recently joined TalkingScot as I found a link online when searching for John Crombie of Maybole Scotland. One of the members on this site was researching the same family but unfortunately the post was back in 2007 which is a long time ago, but maybe someone can help me find some information please.

Thanks for your message. I found a thread that suggested John Crombie's ( born 1863 ) father Thomas Crummie born 1840 died in Ontario Canada in 1925 not sure if this is correct as name similar. I tried the Canadian census 1921 but no luck.
Also trying to find out about John's sister Susanna born 1861 and brother David 1865 but nothing coming up on census 1881. Their mother Helen died 4 days after David was born. This is all info I have. There are 2 cemeteries in Maybole and 2 in Kirkoswald so hopefully I will find out where Helen is buried but not sure who to contact to find this info. Any help would be appreciated.
