Looking for David Earel Lindsay who was born in Ayr Scotland on the 7 Dec 1824 . He traveled to USA and then came to NZ with fellow carpenter Miller and made his home in Wellington marring Elizabeth Brown 29/9/1856 in Wellington the same year he arrived.We have tried most things but some how have missed him. We have the down line here in NZ. I have the family Bible so know that he spells his name this way . The e In Earl was dropped in the next generation. There are articles relating to the name on there.

I amended your initial post to stop the would-be spammers picking up your e-mail address. We have 20-30 spammers attempt to sign up every day. If you want to make private contact with another member to exchange info just use the PM (personal message) button on the top right hand side of all their posts. Folk have exchanged e-mails so that they could share family photos or information about relatives which is too recent for our guidelines is the safest way.
