Resource limit has been reached.

I'm getting this message a lot when I click on the Forum button. Any ideas why? Is it my computer or the website?

I'm finally able to log in to ask about it too.
On & Off all weekend, so it's not our computers.

We have been laughing about it here as with my health issues my " Resource Limits" are often reached! [snore]

I've been seeing it occasionally the last couple of weeks. I could click on one thread get it and then get into the next. Couldn't get in any about 9 this morning.

I've been getting that message for a couple of weeks. Glad it's not my computer.

Me too especially when I use an old link or my bookmark.

I've had the most success logging in by 'googling' Talking Scot, clicking on the heading then clicking 'forum'. This has worked every time but if I try clicking on a cached link I get the message as described.

Regards,
Annette

It is a problem we are trying to have resolved. In the meantime, a workaround that works most of the time is to force the page to reload. On a Windows-based PC, that is by Control-F5 on your keyboard. I don't know the equivalent on a Mac.

The solution may involve completely reinstalling the forum software with a newer version. If that is to be done, the site may be offline for a number of hours. I will post here and say so if that is to happen.

All the best,
