hi I have several members of my family who died in this street I was wondering if perhaps there was a poorhouse in this place
as it seems strange that people from several lines in my family died there
cheers Derek

Re: Duke st Glasgow
Hi Derek,
There were some other institutions in Duke Street:
Glasgow Reformatory Institution and Boys House of Refuge, 327 Duke Street
North Prison of Glasgow, 71 Duke Street
Here's hoping that your folks were in the hospital.
All the best,
AndrewP
