Don't worry about being a day late - we just had our Burns Afternoon at the school today.
Each year learn a Scottish Poem and the best get a Burns Federation Certificate.
The Country Dancing class perform, the haggis is piped in , they all sing and we have haggis& neeps and [ being a school] Irn Bru. The boys write their own Toast to the Lassies and the girls a suitable reply [ usually very amusing].
This year we were treated to 'To A Mouse', 'The Deil's Awa with the Exciseman' among others and the top Favourite 'The Jeelie Piece Song' and of course finished with Auld Lang Syne.

A great time was had by all.
