Googling for my place of birth, the Queen Mary Maternity Home, Edinburgh, led me to a posting on your Forum.

Hello Val and
![TS welcome [TS_welcome]](./images/smilies/TS_welcome.png)
Glad to know those google bots are doing their job! I see you're already contributing to someone's post about the hospital - local knowledge is always helpful, thanks!
And if you come up against any brick walls in your search, don't hesitate to ask a question! We enjoy a good genealogical puzzle
All the best,
Sarah

Hi flyrod,
We're glad to see so many members finding us via search engines. We didn't used to let the bots in, but it is good to know that it was the right decision to make TS visible in an internet search.
Welcome!
Sarah

Googled a name and got a hit in a forum. Now have contact with a distant relative. Now I'm starting to think of the many unanswered questions I have... Have been to Scotland twice and attempted to find my Gr Gr Grandparents graves. Maybe it's time to ask for help ? Cheers from New Zealand, and if anyone has any question at all about this place, then ask away !

I found this site via Scotlands People. Not sure how to use it yet as a beginner in all this, but thanks for having it.

Well someone pointed me towards Scotland's People but I did some more googling and I too found this useful site through google.
