Hello Trish,

She’s on page 74 of this publication in a long list of names.
http://www.jstor.org/pss/904317 You can access JSTOR via NLA.

ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC.
METROPOLITAN EXAMINATION, CHRISTMAS 1906.
The following candidates have passed:—
IN PIANOFORTE PLAYING.
As Teachers: —
Amy Eveline Wyld.

That would why she could put Professor in front of her name.

There’s mention in the London Times, 1906 and 1910, of an Evelyn Wyld playing the violoncello. She appears to have won a Royal Academy of Music prize under that name in 1911. It doesn’t seem to be her, wrong name, wrong instrument.

All the best,
Alan

Hi Trish,
I assume you have her in the other censuses? If not, give a shout. Her parents appear to have been school teachers and her older siblings were born in Cape Colony (South Africa, one supposes).

All the best,
Sarah
