John Dalgliesh/Menzies .....

Hi

I am looking for the birth of John Dalgleish/Menzies born 1859 in England possibliy Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He could be under either name his parents were Peter Menzies and Eliza [Elizabeth ] Dalgliesh.

Hi Heather

A quick parent search on the Internation Genealogical Index at www.familysearch.org shows about half a dozen children born to this couple (assuming ofcourse it is the same couple) but none by the name of John and all were born in Edinburgh the earliest being 1860. Hope this helps.

He is in the 1871 census of Edinburgh as being born in England and his age is given as age 12 years. I have all the others but John escapes me and I can find nothing else on hom.
