Hi all
I'm on the scrounge for a bit of help. I'm researching for a friend whose ancestry is largely from the NW of England. Unfortunately I've drawn a complete blank on finding her paternal family in 1911. They are Charles Mould a chemist's manager, born 1869 in Chorley, his wife Elizabeth Ann born 1866 in Blackburn and their children Charles born 1894 in Blackburn, James born 1899 in Wellingborough, George born 1900 in Wellingborough and Eric born 1905 in Wellingborough. I would have expected them to be in Wellingborough or Wigan. I've tried every search technique known to (wo)man but have failed miserably to find them. I met the friend on Monday and hoped she may have an explanation for their invisisbility but alas she had none. So my plea is that if anyone who has access to England 1911 could have a look and find them I would be very, very grateful and humble too!
Anne

Re: Missing Moulds
Hi Anne,
The family were in Wigan in 1911 - transcribed and indexed as the 'Muriel' family.
All the best,
AndrewP

As noted elsewhere Andrew. You are a total genius. I missed that totally despite my best efforts.

Re: Missing Moulds
Hi Anne,
After getting no useful results for by searching for Mould, I searched for Charles (no surname) born in Chorley in 1869 ± 2 years. That produced a short list of results of which Muriel was the nearest to Mould in the surnames on the list. Thankfully his birthplace was legible to the transcriber.
All the best,
AndrewP
