Post by Andrew Sunter » Mon Mar 21, 2011 3:05 pm

I've just been told that a relative of mine died a couple of years ago but i dont know any details.

she was my great aunt, her name was Margaret Dore, she was born in Dunfermline [after 1910] and died in Wakefield in Yorkshire.

her birth name was Lunn.

does anyone know where i can find out the details of her death.

thanks

Hi Andrew
does anyone know where i can find out the details of her death.
Both Ancestry & Find My Past have modern indexes for England and Wales. If you can find a death in the indexes, then you can order a full version of the certificate from GRO (for £9, I think).

Best wishes
Lesley

Ancestry indexes stop at 2005 and FMP (I think) 2006. I don't think anything later is online - but would like to be corrected.
