Hi
I am trying to trace if he moved to England and if he married and his DOD. His parents names -Dad John Stevenson Reid and mother Janet Reid (MS Aitken). They both died in Scotland. His mother died in 1880. Wiliam appears in the 1871 & 1881 census but after that? I was just thinking if someone could help me in this. Wylie is an unusal name. Regards, Caroline

Hello Caroline,
This looks like him and his wife and two children in Ireland in 1901. All were born Scotland. He’s a Commercial Traveller at 29 Ulsterville Gardens, Belfast. Make sure you click on all the links there to see the various documents. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/p ... ns/966732/
In 1911 he's at 18 Cranmore Avenue, Belfast.

He’s still at Cranmore Avenue in 1918.
Reid, W. W., commercial traveller, Rowans, Cranmore Avenue
