I live within ear shot of the River Thames. I just left this room and went into one that is quieter :wink: and heard the sound of a ships horn (which i often do ) but a shudder went through me :!: do you think this is a sign i might be on the verge of finding my elusive seafareing gt grandfather :wink: (and no there wasnt a draught, its not as cold down here !)

I wish there was a tongue in cheek icon ! but i am not dismissing this one :lol:

try the Kennet & Avon canal, which has the advantage of some hills!
