where to look next .....

Hello Everyone

I am searching for my great grandmother's Margaret Watt/s birth in the 1891 census she is down as being born Stockton-on-Tees and in the 1901 census it just says England.

Her age is the same throughout and that would make her born 1867 but I can't find her anywhere. I have searched either side of 1867 with no luck.

Also she is missing from the 1871 census I have her father John a ship plater from her marriage but need to find her mother.

So where do I go from here to find her? :?

Hello Angel - noticed you hadn't had a reply, and wondered if you'd made any headway with Margaret? There is a birth of Margaret Watts listed in Newcastle T during the Jan-Mar quarter of 1867. If you think this might be her, I will send you the details from the index, but there is no other information apart from the reference. You'd need to send for the certificate. You may have found her by now, but let me know if you want to see the index - you'd need the reference info to send away for the cert.
