Hi all,
I am missing my Fraser family in Scottish 1901 census. As the father David Charles was born in England, I am thinking they may have been visiting his family during the 1901 census. Is someone able to have a look for me please?
The family are
David Charles Fraser, about 54, engineer and pattern maker born England
Christina, wife, about 46, born Bowling, Old Kilpatrick, Dumbarton Scotland
Alexander aged about 20
William Easton Fraser, aged about 18
David, aged about 15
Christina aged about 14
Rosetta aged about 12
Robert aged about 19.
The children were all born in Greenock Renfrew Scotland.
Thanks for reading.
Nina

Hi Nina,
I had a look too but unfortunately could not find them. I could only find to people named Rosetta Fraser and neither was a match.
EDIT- I also had a look throigh the birth index imges from 1853-1855 but could not find David's birth. I tried "David Charles" and "Charles David" along with "Fraser" and "Frazer" without success I'm afraid.

They moved about a lot. In 1881:
Household:
Name Relation Marital Status Gender Age Birthplace Occupation Disability
David Charles FRAZER Head M Male 35 Liverpool, Lancashire, England Marine Engineer (E & M)
Christine FRAZER Wife M Female 25 Scotland
Alexander FRAZER Son Male 6 m Scotland
Source Information:
Dwelling No 1 Pharos Cottages
Census Place Thornton In Fylde, Lancashire, England
Family History Library Film 1342018
Public Records Office Reference RG11
Piece / Folio 4255 / 148
Page Number 48
In 1901 the family were living at 13 Crescent Street, Greenock. David is away from home but the rest of the family plus three more children are there.
Easiest way to find them is a search for Rosetta Frazer in Greenock.

Thanks for all the help everyone, and thanks Andy for the hint about the 1901.
I was trying to establish a link between a boarder named Fraser that Christine's parents had in one of the censuses, but it seems there is none. However, I am thrilled to have some more information about the family!
