Sydney Poole married Grace Fraser in 1907 in Cromdale Moray. His parents were Sydney Poole and Jane Ann Fraser. Can't find his birth in Scotland. Perhaps he was born in England???
Year of birth would be 1884/5 according to his m.c.
Can anyone find him in England?

Have you tried the census?
The 1891 census lists 1 S*dney Poole [but no Sydney] and Jane Poole is listed 16 times. You may be able to identify the family by checking the male's address against those given for Jane and locate the family.
It may be that either your Sydney or his Dad were commonly called by another name, or that your Sydney was unaware that he may have been named with Sydney as a second name - for example: John Sydney Poole, or David Sydney Poole.
