can anybody help me find relations of kathleen matthews maiden name clark born on 28/11/1929, think she was born in nottingham and her mother was called gladys, thanks

Hi Linda,

For Kathleen Clark b. oct-dec 1929 there are only 4

Kathleen J - Mother Scott - Bellingham
Kathleen M - Mother Lawson - West Ham
Kathleen M - Mother Pratt - Brighton
Kathleen R - Mother Hillier - Eaton

If you can confirm the mothers maiden name it shouldnt be too hard to look to see if kathleen had any siblings.

I'm confused now

- you said earlier :

kathleen matthews maiden name clark

If Kathleen's maiden name was Clark, on the assumption that her parents were married, then her mother's maiden name probably wasn't Clark surely?
(....Unless a Clark married another Clark, or she was illegitimate and took her mother's name)

Well ive taken another look from Oct 1929 to Mar 1930 and tried both Clark and Clarke spellings and i cannot see a Kathleen Clark whos mothers surname was Clark.

confused myself now sorry, kathleens maiden name was clark not sure what kathleens mum's maiden name was like you said sure it wasn't clark though again i am sorry for the confusion

How did you find Kathleens DOB - if it was a certificate of some sort you could look and see if there is a middle name or initial that may make things clearer esp as there was only 4 Kathleens born in that quarter with the Clark spelling of the surname.

Do you know what her fathers name was ? appart from Clark - lol

Hi Linda,

That narrows it down quite a lot there are only 2 with the initial M

Both Oct-Dec 1929

Kathleen M - Mothers Maiden Name Lawson - West Ham - 4a 415
Kathleen M - Mothers Maiden Name Pratt - Brighton - 2b 277

I did check and there were no Kathleen M Clarks born or registered in the 1st quarter of 1930 so you should get a result from one of the above - fingers crossed.
