Access to OPRs for St Mary Magdalene, Bermonsey? .....

Post by LesleyB » Thu Sep 07, 2006 11:05 pm

Hi all
Long shot. Just thought I'd ask, and if not will order film from local LDS...

There is a James Golding born 8 October 1804, St Mary Magdalene/Magdalen, Bermondsey, christened 4 Nov, son of James Golding and Elizabeth, Batch P001582 on IGI.

If anyone has easy access to the OPR entry I'd be most grateful for the actual wording of that one. Might just be a pivotal jigsaw piece.... but then again, might not be... date is a little earlier than expected, but nothing else is looking likely and I need to eliminate him if not. Will only know for sure if father's occupation or other clue is given - wondering if the father is a shipwright or other closely related trade?

Best wishes
Lesley
