Hi all,

This seems to be another case where less is more! When I searched for Eleanor Heron and filled in all the blanks I got 4 results. When I searched for her with just Ireland filled in, then I got something like 78 results which I filtered by range of dates.

I'm with HeatherH on the planning the Irish holiday though. The indexes are great teasers. I have lots of possiblities now, but not much information! Have always wanted to visit Ireland. Just have to find a money tree out in the yard somewhere...!

Carol :D
Looking for: Clerihew, Longmuir/Longmore, Chalmers, Milne, Barclay in Newhills,
Munro, Cadenhead, Raitt, Ririe/Reary

Hi all
I received a reply to my comments, but....
...if I'm reading this right, does it mean that is "time up" already??
We appreciate your Feedback regarding the very short glance at the Irish Records. They were allowedby contract to be viewed for a short time only. Keep checking back when they might be back on. Reminder: Record Search is still under development. This release is considered pilot. This means that at times Record Search will not be available while we add additional records and improve some features. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to receiving your feedback. Thank you for contacting Record Search. Sincerely,FamilySearch Support

Interesting reply Lesley, I am still having no joy, have tried names only with years + -, advanced seach, nothing, so I typed in my Grandfathers name who I do have his Irish birth certificate, and even that came up with zero result. So with this result it gives me renewed hope that my "other" lost ones are in there some where.

Will keep trying.

Trish
searching. Rae, Kennedy, Agnew, McConnell, Singleton, Appleton, Feeney, Fury, & many more

Have I missed the boat I am getting nothing from the link. I couldn't believe the thread Irish BDM's all our dreams come true only for our hopes to be dashed. At least we know it is in the pipeline.

I am trying from work and it is just coming up a blank screen. If they have anything fancy like flash that will happen. I can get on to the normal familysearch site okay. I will try from home.

Hi Andrew
Its all Flash, so that is why it'll not be working for you - & that is why copy & paste is not an option!

Best wishes
