He married Mary McNamara in Louisburgh 1859 , they had a daughter Helen born in Mayo 1861. They then came too Scotland.
I know Thomas parents were tedious or fedious Moran & Honora Hester. But no nothing more about them or even any siblings off Thomas.
Any help would be appreciated

Thanx
And they then proceded to have a large number of kids in Scotland. among whom were .......

They're also in the 1871 and 1901 censuses, with the deaths of Thomas and Mary following, confirming Thomas' parents names as Tedius MORAN and Honor HESTER, and Mary's father had a magnificent given name as well :!:

Hi Maddy
I've typed up instructions which expand on Anne's above. I do hope this helps. But again, if you are having problems with it please don't give up - just holler!

Print this out if it helps!

You have to be logged into Talking Scot, and then.....

1. Scroll up the page & click on the Gallery link at the top of this page

In the Gallery page:
2. Click on the Upload File link at the top of the page.

Under the File Uploads section:
3. Click the Browse button.
This will open a dialog box which will let you look for the file that you wanted to upload to TS. It makes life easier for you if you have saved this file to somewhere obvious like “Desktop” or “My Documents” or wherever you usually store your family history files.

4. When you have located the file, double click on it.
In the File Uploads box you should now see the “path” to the file e.g.
C:\Documents and Settings\Lesley\Desktop\8ElginVillas_aka_1401.jpg
(This just means the TS website now knows where to collect your file from!)

5. Click on the Continue button at the bottom of this page.
Your file will now be uploaded and you should see a message:
1 uploads were successful.
Please click 'Continue' to add the files to albums.

6. Click the Continue button

7. You should now see a page where you can add more details about the image if needed - if not needed, just click Continue

8. You should now see a page with the message:
The previous file was placed successfully.
You have successfully placed all the files.

(At this point you can jump up and down and make appropriate whooping noises! \:D/ )

9. Click the Continue button.
You will be taken back to the main Gallery page (where you started, but you will probably have forgotten what it looked like by now! )

You then have to wait for approval from TSAG who will post your image in the gallery, and some kind soul will (I hope) then paste the link to your image in the body of your post. If no link appears in your post within 24hrs, but you know the image upload was successful, then shout! #-o

No seriously, just post a message and someone will help!

Best wishes
Lesley

Hi Maddy
Sometimes, unless you tell them otherwise, pictures automatically save into a folder called "My Pictures" which is in the "My Documents" folder - maybe its in there?

Best wishes

Hi there
If all else fails you can always save another copy of the file

Log on to SP and view the image, then select "save page"

when the pop-up box appears look at where is says "save in", it will be one of your documents folders,
click the drop-down button and change it to "desktop"

in the "file name" box, change the name from "image" to something relevant (example "Moran DC").

now click the save button

When you minimise SP and any other programs you will see the file on your desktop and you can leave it where it is or drag it into any folder you want. :)
