Hello Currie,

Thanks for the words of reassurance.

I made sure that I had the latest Java version and I tried reinstalling the indexing software, but it made no difference. I still got a security warning when I tried to run the program.

However, I tried again today and this time I got a different message:

Unable To Launch The Application.

Fortunately, the Family Search website had the answer to this problem on their home page. I followed the instructions and now I am back where I was - no error or warning messages. Perhaps they have updated the program signature?
