The 1911 Cenus of Ireland has started to be put online.
They are putting on one county at a time starting with Dublin, once they have put on the whole of the 1911 census, they will start puting on the 1901 census.

Thanks for the link. Immediate hit in Belfast. Proof also that there are very few Thallon in Ireland (a Scottish name) and I know them all as immediate family.
Please note that 1911 was before the partition of Ireland and records include counties now considered part of Northern Ireland. Looking ahead, the 1921 census should have the same catchment area because the partition was in 1922. Thereafter Northern Ireland records are held separately, no on-line facilities at present that I know of.
