Belfast, anybody?

Post by jennyblain » Sun Jul 27, 2008 2:29 pm

I am toying with the idea of flying to Belfast for a few days, around the middle of August. There are cheap flights... the object is to visit PRONI, look up the Presbyterian records, and of course see Belfast!

If I managed to do this (nothing is sure, and I have other ideas too for my little bit of 'annual leave'), is there anybody who'd be interested in getting together there for a pint and a chat about Scottish/Irish connections? And/or give tips about PRONI?
:)

Of course it's entirely dependent on what's available when at PRONI - I'd have to do a fair bit of checking because there's no point in getting there and finding that the records I need are in process of being moved!

Hi Jenny

Bad timing! My sister has just returned from a holiday there. Hope someone else might be able to meet up with you.
