Thanks Paul,

I’m waiting for Bray in Wicklow and that’s the last to be done but very well worth waiting for. I have a feeling though that the lady may have left by then and I’ll have to wait for 1901.

This one must be only about 10% complete but already it’s the best 1911 Census on the block.

Thanks again,
Alan

Fantastic Paul...you even get the actual images and all for free! :D

Alas...too late for my lot, most of whom were in Scotland from the 1851-70 period, but you never know...I might find a stray somewhere.

Regards,
Anne H

Yeah!! Just found my great great grandfather living with one of his daughters and her family in Antrim. My mother always told me the daughter's husband was John Cobain but it appears he was Patrick Cobain. No doubt in my mind that this is the right family although mother gives her birthplace as Belfast when she was actually born in Greenock. Daresay she did not know that. However all the names of the children are right including a daughter named Annie after my great great grandmother who was dead by that time.

She 's my missing link and I'm now desperate for the 1901 census. Can't come fast enough for me.

I had two separate lines and their immediate families' who came to Scotland one settled in Glasgow the other Ayrshire but did Mammy and Daddy have brothers' and sisters' who stayed on in Ireland or some who went back?
I had a look in the census for family names, the Ayrshire lot came from County Down, but there are too many with the same last name so unable to find any of my lot as yet. I did notice however that some had their place of birth as Scotland.
The index search is good and quick, and then to get the actual image which is also easy on the eye to read. Well done.
Rita.

I've finally found my Grandfather with his family - there were more of them than my dad talked about!

Plus I've found an old friend of the family farming not so far away

BRILLIANT :)
