Hi,
Is it possible to look up death certs for Ireland 1868 onwards online ?
I'm trying to find the parents of Stephen Telford, George (a farmer) & Abigail (nee Benson). Stephen was born c. 1840-44, and they were both still alive when he married on 26th Nov 1868 in Partick, Glasgow. According to his marriage cert he was a presbyterian.
Thanks,
Daryl

Hi Daryl
The civil index is online on family search, polit version:
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html
(works like the English system - find volume and ref no., then send for copy of cert - BUT no parents names will be given on death cert, just like the English certs) Abigail will only be listed using her married surname, again like the English system.
Best wishes
Lesley
