1901 Census
I see the National Archives of Ireland have now put back the 1901 Census to early to mid 2010. I thought with them being early with the 1911 they would be prompt with the 1901 but no such luck.

Re: 1901 Census
Hello Ailsa,
The latest announcement on the site reads as follows:
1901 Census material, with all data transcribed, will be launched before the end of June 2010. It will be launched all at once rather than in tranches as with 1911. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/a ... plans.html
Definitely worth the wait and very cheap too.

Re: 1901 Census
Thanks Alan,
I think the 1911 irish census is excellent. I just can't find many relatives on it as they had moved to Glasgow! but i have a few that may have been still there in 1901.
Thanks,
Ailsa
