I'm sure many will be over the moon with this announcement, Annette!

The link from the 'Who do you think you are' page didn't work - I even tried cut and paste - but this one gets you directly to the NAI census search http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ (corrected June 3 - sorry for the error)

There is also a further source for those who are looking for Irish in Canada, which was produced within the same project http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/ireland/index-e.html

No need for apologies Frances - you were, and still are correct.

That wee space makes all the difference right enough. I didn't try that link (didn't see it in my excitement)- just went straight to the NAI site and am bemused that WDYTYA haven't updated it yet.
