Hi Annepat and Welcome to the TalkingScot website! I'm not sure the time period that you're looking for but a quick parent search of the IGI gives two children born to Patrick Skelton and Anne Byrne. Any chance this is the right family?? What year was do you think John Skelton was born in Glasgow?

1. PATRICK SKELTON - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Birth: 17 MAR 1866 0067, Bangor, Mayo, Ireland

2. JOSEPH SKELTON - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Birth: 09 MAR 1864 0061, Bangor Erris, Mayo, Ireland

Hope we can help you further....

Best wishes
Jean

You should be able to find more information here: http://www.psni.police.uk/index.htm

Go to the section Police Museum and Genealogy Information. £15 per search for information. There is MUCH more available for ranks Sergeant or above. The search for this is £25.
Searching for Keogh, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Riddell, Stewart, Wilson, McQuilkin, Lynch, Boyle, Cairney, Ross, King, McIlravey, McCurdy, Drennan and Woods (to name but a few).

Also looking for any information on Rathlin Island, County Antrim, Ireland.

Hi Anne?,

I'm not being critical but lots of your requests are very vague. In order for folk to help efficiently it's a good idea to add a few first names, dates of events etc. if you have them.

This may not apply now on this thread but there are others.
