Tombstones .....

Post by Alice Bradford » Tue Aug 08, 2006 4:50 am

A number of years ago my aunt had a researcher do some research for her and this is what he wrote: "The searches that were requested in Ireland were completed and the results inclosed. In the Kirkinriola parish registers there were a couple of references found to the Hamiltons but nothing that apparently relates to the family of Peter. This is not conclusive since the family may have been Presbyterian and unfortunately these early records do not survive.

It would be well to have someone search the tombstones of this area as they can often give many important details."

Can anyone tell me how would I go about getting someone to search those tombstones?
Thanks,
Alice
