Gough Look up please .....

Looking for Julia Gough born Cork 1839, Mother Thomas Gough and Julia McDonald. Thomas was transported to Tasmania and I belive his wife Julia and daughter came out as free immigrants to join him. Any Clues Please much appreciated

Have you had a look at the Pioneer indexes available on CD. They are a bit expensive but your state library should have them available for looking up. I know the Alexander library here in Perth has them plus microfiche records (at no cost). So maybe a look at where you live in Oz. :D There are other sources too around National Archives and I am sure the Tassie index has the convicts on there too.

State Library in Hobart have all the convict records.

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting your infomation from them.
