Ive been looking for thh birth of Charles Allen born 1906 Belfast. PRONI says he is not there. Have his marriage details so I think he should be there. Paid 11 Pounds to get that information that he is not there! Wonder where he is.

Hi Maggie, You might have been better if you had tried

http://www.groireland.ie/research.htm which covers the whole of Ireland up till the end of 1921. As you say he could have been born anywhere, and only married In Belfast. Another possibility is Scotland, there was always a lot of movement between the 2 countries. If you have his parents names, even try and see if there is a marriage entry for the couple on S.P. Just a thought.

He was definitely born Ireland said to be Belfast, married in Dunluce. Dont have his parents names only the fathers from his marriage cert. Trying to find out who his mother was. Been on the irish site you gave So expensive to get those irish records. Might give that one a try though
