Hello Ailsa,

I don’t think I’ve previously seen the site. http://www.forces-war-records.co.uk/default.asp

I found some people recently discussing it on the Stirling Aircraft Society forum (there’s something vaguely familiar about their site but I can’t quite put my finger on it) http://sas.raf38group.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=843

They weren’t very impressed and thought that all they had to offer was stuff that was freely available elsewhere but were charging for it.

All the best,
Alan

For between £7 and £9 per month depending on the length of the subscription, I think not since, as Alan comments, most of the info is freely available elsewhere.

OK, an advantage of this site, as claimed, is that it brings everything together on the one website.

Thanks Alan and mb,

I had wondered why it wasn't listed as a site for research on TS - I thought at first it was a part of Ancestry. As you say mb it may be useful being all on one site. I might wait and see if anyone replies that has used it first!
