Looking to find out where possibly I could find birth records from the 1930s for the hospital located at 1301 Govan Road. Trying to find out date of birth of my wife's grandmother (Isabella) who had my wife's mother there in 1935. We know the grandnmother's name from the birth certificate but Isabella seems to be a very common first name.
Any help appreciated. Thks

All the Birth certificates for Scotland are held by the National Records of Scotland
and can be search for on https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ . Although with 1935 birth , the actual record cannot be viewed on-line [100 year cut- off for privacy] you should be able to view the indexes .
You an search using the mother's maiden name as well as child's fore and sur -names.
You can however view the all records in person if you visit the National Records Office in Edinburgh, or in any of the hubs at Kilmarnock, Alloa, Hawick, Inverness or the Mitchel Library in Glasgow. see: https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/about-us
1301 Govan Road, would have been the Southern General Hospital [now the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital], and the birth would have been recorded in the Govan area of Lanarkshire in that period of time [now of course part of the City of Glasgow.]
Though reading your question again, am I right in thinking you are looking for the date of birth for the Mother of the child born in Govan in 1935?
You'll only find that on the lady's own birth record not her child's.
The child's birth will have the date of her parents' marriage though, and from that you should be able to fine the age her mother gave on that , and using the parent's names then search for a birth of your wife's grandmother.
I hope that helps?
