Canadian Nurses of Scottish Decent

Post by am179119 » Tue Jan 21, 2025 2:51 am

Hi All! I am looking for any primary source material on two women who served in the Canadian Army Nursing Services in WWI, primarily letters or diary entries? (Bonus if they are letters to one another haha). The first was the leader of the Canadian Nursing Services, Margaret MacDonald and Mabel Clint. I know Clint wrote her book "Our Bit"--I have a copy and have read it (I highly recommend if you haven't!) And I know Susan Mann published works on MacDonald. I also looked at the Canadian National Archives with no luck. Anyway, if any one knows where either might have papers at local archives or family members who are willing to reach out to me, I'd be much obliged. I am a PhD researchers working on WWI nursing, and would love to include these women. Thanks!
