Hi Marilyn,
...would Lizzie also be a nickname for Letitia or would it be Letty?
I've never heard of Lizzie being used for either Letitia or Letty so had a look at "What's in a Name", but it didn't show up as a nickname.

There is actually great detail in that receipt you have there. I think I'd better start saving for my own funeral...not that I intend going anytime soon (I hope)! [-o<

Hi Anne,

I turned 150 today and I plan to buy my plot soon. Although my Morning family lived a full life and well into their 90's, I may take after my father's family, who passed on all before their 60's.

I've decided on my final resting place and now its just a matter of, do I want a flat stone-two plot or a stand up stone (which someone might knock over down the road?) The two-plot is next to my parents and the six plot is under a tree a short distance away from them. Decisions Decisions?  But one that I don't want my husband, daughter or grandson, to have to make under stress, so I'll make the decision for them, because they can't handle the thought and I can.. :)

Regards
Marilyn

[birthday]
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARILYN!

Och! You're still a young thing so we want you to stick around for a long time! :D

At least you've decided on your final resting place... I still haven't decided if I'm going to stay here or go back home, athough there's no more room for new graves where my parents and the rest of my ancestors have been buried for the past 200 years or so. Since I reached my 60th birthday in February I really need to do some serious thinking and get things in order! Just too bad we never know when!

Anne H

And Marilyn, in case you’ve forgotten.

The weather report in the New York Times 7th July 1858 was:

Clearing and warmer today.
Sunny and warmer tomorrow.
Temperature range today: 74—58.
Temperature range yesterday: 62.1—56.7.

And the price was 5 cents.
Alan

Hi Anne,

I can see that this won't be an easy decision for you to make. My husband & I thought about being cremated and buried on the landthat we've lived on for the past 29 years, but then thought with our luck the next owner would dig up the back yard to put in a swimming pool and where would that leave us? :D

Regards
Marilyn

Hi Liz

Thank you for the celebration wishes. We can't have another party just now, because I still haven't recovered from the beach party yet.

Hi Anne,

I love to laugh, for me it puts everything into prospective.

My family have some instructions

Upon my demise, they are to dig up my beloved pets and place them at my feet in my coffin. Now I know that this may sound a bit morbid :( but I'm fairly sure that the next owner of my land will surley did it up and I don't want my pets to end up in some landfill. So next on my bucket list, is to make my own funeral arrangements and I can't wait to see the undertaker's face when I inform him of my last wishes. I'll be sure to snap a pic and post it here. I also told my family to make sure they grap a recent picture of me and my makeup bag and take it to the undertaker.
I don't want to end up with a beehive hairdo or bright lips. lol

Regards
Marilyn

Can't wait to see that picture!

I knew a woman in her late eighties who died and ended up looking like a thirty-year old glamour girl lying in her coffin! She was gorgeous! :o
That undertaker did a fantastic job sending her off! :)

Regars,
Anne
