Hi April:

Sent photos and info by e-mail. Unfortunately, even looking at the microfilm, some items were no clearer. It's a VERY bad film.

Thought I would throw this in as I have ancestors from Plympton in Devon or could it also be Plymouth, Devon which is in the same vicinity?

Just a thought.

Hi Barbara
France has confirmed from Mary's newspaper funeral notice that her maiden name was Prouse. She is likely to be the Mary Ann Prouse born in Mar qtr of 1867 in Plympton.

April

Are you sure? There is a death for a Mary Ann Prouse in the same year and quarter in Plympton. I'm still voting for the one born Plymtree, who was registered in Honiton in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1868-- or is there some reason you think it is not her?

All the best,
Sarah

You're would right Sarah as that one would be the right year for the age at death :)
