I like the idea of the girls having their pick of the men.

It must have been a tough life in those days, but probably not any harder than what they left behind. A lot colder though.

Hello all,

The only hill around here is a bridge but the nearest worthwhile shops are about a marathon distance away. I think if I tried it I’d probably either get run over in the process or picked up by an ambulance half way there.

I really enjoy watching marathons, much better than your average movie, you can sit back with something to nibble on and really enjoy the scenery. (Although I really should get a treadmill and watch them from there.) Boston sounds good although the odds are I’ll forget.

Oh how glad I am that I live close enough to walk to work.The supermarket is 5mins away as are cafes,resturants,library& book shop.The Dr's is just around the corner,three chemists two minutes walk & fish & chip shop across the road.

I have a park just two minutes away where I spend many a happy hour reading or watching the world go by.

Dragging main on a Sat night oh I did enjoy that when I lived in the USA.
