Hi Carol,
Either curling or sky diving?
I just e-mailed Raymond's daughter along with the article of the car accident, maybe she'll tell me what happened? I'll keep you posted.
Hi Alan,
I also asked Ann if she knew who "Arthur Longtin" was?
Thank you both for your generosity!

Hi Currie,
Turns out that Arthur Longtin is the uncle of Warren & Raymond.
Here's a gravesite picture of the four brothers, Arthur, Leo, Charles and Walter (Warren & Raymond's father) Thanks again for the great article!

Hi Carol,
She confirmed back that Arthur was her great uncle, but not a word about the car accident

maybe its just too painful for her to talk about?

Or maybe she never really knew much about it. I guess it depends on how old she was then.
Just finished previewing the newspaper articles. Found two more football pictures--really clear ones! I'll send those along later today.
Also, Warren's injury that put him on crutches was a broken leg!
No curling or skydiving!
Have to go do other things right now--grocery shopping. Not eating is not an option around here!
Carol

Looking for: Clerihew, Longmuir/Longmore, Chalmers, Milne, Barclay in Newhills,
Munro, Cadenhead, Raitt, Ririe/Reary

Hi Carol,
I agree we must set our priorities and food is on the top of our "to do" list, then laundry soap which I forgot to buy yesterday.
I figure most likely Warren broke his leg playing football? Speaking of football, did you see "OJ" was found guilty!!! Exactly 13 years after his famous acquittal!!!!! Good I hope he rots in jail.
Oh sorry I'm getting carried away.
Two more pieces to add, what can I say but THANK YOU!!!!!!
I'm guessing that she was born right around the time of Raymond's accident.
Deeply grateful

Carol thanks for that great picture of Warren, its the best one yet!!! And what a headline
'LONGTIN OUT OF ACTION WITH A FRACTURED LEG"
Really priceless!!!! My younger brother should get a big kick out of it, he used to be the captain of his football team way back when.
I'll be passing through Lowell next weekend and plan to stop at the library to follow up on Raymond's accident. Called them today and the entire month of December is on film....stay tuned

Hi Marilyn,
I was surprised at how good those pictures were considering how dark the others have been. Have the list of dates and pages in the works. Hope to finish it up tomorrow.
Wish all my searches were this productive!

Carol the clarity of that last picture was truly amazing

and to think that when I began this thread, I never dreamed it would lead to all these amazing discoveries, thanks to you.
I appreciate the dates and page numbers and will look up as many as time will allow. Ya see I'll have my little dog, Maxine Morning with me and she hurt her back a few weeks ago, soooooo I can't trust her in the car for long periods of time.....
The Lowell Library only have the years 2004-2007 indexed, so without those numbers I would be there all day.
You must be sick of me thanking you, but
