Peter McKechnie

Looking for any help or information on Peter McKechnie and family, they emigrated in 1911 from Scotland to New York, according to the 1920 census they were living in Queens, Little Italy. With Peter was his wife Margaret, age 50, his daughters, Mary, age 22 and Margaret, age 18 and also his son William, age 17, when they left Scotland, on board the ship was also another son, Donald McKillop McKechnie, I am also looking for any information on him, apart from him appearing on the ships manifest I have no other record. Hoping to find what happened to the family after 1920, the story of Peter McKechnie can be found on this site under Geography - Rashfield Farm.
Thanks.

Hi
I read your posting on Peter Mckechnie
Now my questions is did Peter and Mary McKechnie return to Scotland . I did find a Peter Mckechnie who matched the age and place of birth as Scotland but his immigration date didn't match he was listed as a widow no children listed and this was in the 1930 census Gissespie Illinois he was a coal miner

Now I checking on a Margaret and Mary I found who match to yours hope to find out by the end of the week if they are also on a Marg Mckechnie who died in Queens Ny to see if she yours

I found nothing on Donald Mckechnie except for when he came here with his parents wondering if he return and married then return to the USA cause I only found Donald who matched in birth year who came here in 1925 with his wife Christine and son John and listed a mother Mary Mckechnie on Duke St Glasgow

Nancy :)
