Helen,
Have you any idea of whether Albert went to Canada as a child or an adult?
What were his parents names?
I have looked at the Passenger Lists on Findmypast but there are to many Albert M******s to find yours on the information you have given.
If you can give any more details, then I'll have another look.
Regards,
maggie

Hi Helen and Maggie:
FrancesWe regret that we cannot help with queries about any persons who might still be living. There are several good reasons for this, not least our desire to respect the privacy of living persons.
Please use the cut-off dates used by Scotlands People as a guideline:
» Births up 1907
» Marriages up to 1932
» Deaths up to 1957
- regardless of country.
We are aware that indices for more recent events are available on line: anyone can pay to look up these indices, but we would prefer that details of any person who might still be living are not posted publicly on the forum.
Many thanks for your co-operation in this matter.

Hi Frances,
Albert is definitely dead. I am aware of ts guidlines regarding living relatives and would not have posted my message had albert still been living.
Does this mean I am still not able to carry on with my research?
I really think it would be unfair if I am not able to as I would like to ask Maggie for further help.
many thanks
