This search tool is free of charge and available in French and in English. It leads to genealogy and family history databases hosted by federal, provincial or territorial archives centres and libraries, or by other partners.
It allows you to search multiple or single databases by a various terms and includes indexes of railway employees, British home children, immigrants and soldiers of WWI, among many others.
I haven't tried the advanced search, but scrolling through 100 returns takes very little time.
Hope some find it useful.
Frances

Hi Frances
Thank you for posting this. I wish that it was on a sticky so that I wouldn't forget how to find the site.
When I looked on this site yesterday, I think that I found the record of my aunt's immigration to Canada. I had earlier searched for it in vain. All of my life I had assumed that my aunt, because she was older, had been the first one of her family to come to Canada. I had thought that my mother had come to Canada because her sister was already there. Now it seems as though my mother was the first. All of this is very confusing.
Regards
