alexander macleod michigan
I have just learned that I had an Uncle in Michigan,district Wayne (zip 48236) He died <after 1961>. his social security number was 372-07-5238 Is there any possible chance someone may know anything about him or from this info I might search any records.He was born here in Glasgow Scotland 1897. hopefully with thanks.

What do you want to know about him? I see him with his wife and daughter in both the 1930 and 1940 censuses in Wayne county, Michigan. After admittedly not trying very long, I'm having trouble finding his arrival in the U.S. though. There is an index card referring to his naturalization, but I don't believe the actual papers are online. I think you could find him in both the above censuses for free on FamilySearch.org
