Alexander Menzies Almondell and Mary Johnstone Staward .....
On behalf of my sister I am researching her Husband's genealogy. Alexander Menzies Almondell was born in 1890 and died on the 23rd of March, 1963. His wife, Mary Johnstone Staward was born in 1881 and died on the 31 January, 1962. They had a daughter named Mona Wilson Menzies who was born in 1917 in Broxburn, West Lothian. She married a Newfoundland man who was in the Forestry Unit during WW2 and move to his home in Newfoundland where she died. Mona also had two brothers. If you have any information regarding this family, please contact me.......
Kind Regards,
Yvonne

Hi Firette
and welcome to Talking Scot
I'm sorry but here on Talking Scot we can't help find people who may be living. Please see http://talkingscot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6601 for guidance on dates and etc.
IF you wish to search for them yourself you may find some of these links helpful:

However, if you need guidance about how to go "backwards" in time then we can help wth that. Your starting points would be the death certificates for the people you mention. However, if they died in Scotland the dates are too recent for you to be able to search online - cut off date is 1950. If you need copies of the certificates you will need to contact GROS - see http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/h ... flet2.html for guidance, or visit New Register House in Edinburgh, or Park Circus, Glasgow yourself.
Best wishes
Lesley
